Southern Royal Albatross landing. A Southern Royal Albatross (Diomedea epomophora) landing at sea and showing off its heavy body and massive wingspan (over 3 metres). The Albatross and other birds were landing on the sea near our ship in response to pieces of fish that were being thrown overboard.
