Brolga Display
A Brolga (Grus rubicunda) is displaying and another is nearby. The season was very dry and the nearby Mutton Hole wetlands appeared to be totally dry. We saw around 200 brolgas between Normanton and Karumba. Photo taken at a lagoon, just north of the Norman River, Normanton, Queensland, Australia, October 2015.
