Gentoos Coming Ashore
Gentoo Penguins (Pygoscelis papua) coming ashore at a breeding colony. They seem to be having fun in the surf, as penguins often do. The penguins are breeding at this time, so one parent can go to sea to feed while the other sits on eggs.
