Falkland Gentoo Rookery
A Gentoo Penguin (Pygoscelis papua) breeding colony in the Falklands. The nests in each rookery are a scrape in the mud, unlike the Gentoos in Antarctica which make a nest with pebbles. The Neck, Saunders Island, Falkland Islands, 7 November 2013
