A wedge-tailed Eagle (Aquila audax) was feeding on a kangaroo carcass by the roadside. It was tearing into the carcass and in this image has entrails hanging from its beak. It let us get quite close for this shot through the car window, and we watched for several minutes whereas normally they will fly off when a car approaches.
